Job description:

Reports To: Plant Manager

Schedule: Full time / Day Shift

Monday through Thursday 6am-3:30pm, Friday 6am-10am

This schedule supports a strong work-life balance, giving you long weekends to recharge.

*Overtime may be available from time to time

Job Overview: This position requires a person willing to learn multiple tasks & stages in our manufacturing process and assist each day where they are needed. Below is a general list of tasks assigned- there will likely be other tasks in addition to these:

  • Insulation
  • Bending (brake press)
  • Spot welding
  • Prepping plates
  • Truck driving for deliveries / pick ups
    • Must have valid drivers license
    • Experience driving with a trailer is helpful but can be learned
  • Paint
  • Sand blasting
  • Shipping / receiving / inventory
  • Grounds keeping

What We’re Looking For:

Hard Skills (Technical & Operational)

  • Operating hand and power tools – e.g., hammers, drills, saws, grinders, impact wrenches
  • Forklift and heavy machinery operation – for moving materials and equipment
  • Material handling and inventory management – stacking, sorting, and transporting materials safely
  • Blueprint reading and work order interpretation – to follow instructions and assembly plans
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge – for operating and understanding equipment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude – troubleshooting and problem-solving with tools and systems
  • Loading/unloading – moving goods in/out of vehicles or storage areas
  • Time management and task prioritization – meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Soft Skills (Interpersonal & Work Habits)

  • Teamwork – collaborating with welders, supervisors, and other laborers
  • Communication – clear verbal and written instructions
  • Adaptability – adjusting to changing tasks or work environments
  • Problem-solving – identifying and resolving workplace issues
  • Physical stamina – ability to perform strenuous tasks throughout the day
  • Ownership/Pride – Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
